Yamazaki Year Old Single Malt Whisky Size 18

One of the richer whiskies to come out of Japan, Yamazaki’s 18yo has plenty of flavor and richness making this a hugely satisfying whisky. A deep amber colour is swiftly followed by full spice and berried oak flavours. One to savour. Japan's first and oldest malt whisky distillery, Yamazaki, was established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii (Suntory's founder). Taking inspiration from traditional Scottish whisky, Torii envisioned a Japanese approach by choosing a terrain and climate completely different to those of Scotland to create a unique kind of whisky. Nestled proudly on the periphery of Kyoto, this region was formerly referred to as "Minaseno", where one of the purest waters of Japan originates. One to savour
