Aberlour 18 Year Old is an award winning double cask matured single malt aged for a minimum of 18 years in a combination of the finest hand-picked Oloroso Sherry butts and American Oak barrels. This gives a deeper Sherry influence that adds more spiciness and a liquorice tang. All our single malts are made with the best local ingredients of barley and soft water from nearby mountain, Ben Rinnes. Awarded Gold Medal at the IWSC Awards for the best Cask Finish Speyside Single MaltOnly the very best casks have been selected to ensure a single malt of unsurpassed richness and embody the ultimate expression of Aberlour.An intense whisky with a perfect structure. The soft flavours of cream and peach are balanced by distinctive notes of chocolate and orange zest.The richness of the natural environment combined with the soft and pure water creates Aberlour single malt, a distinctive whisky of generous character.Colour: Auburn gold.Nose: Rich and complex, notes of toffee, butterscotch combine with ripe peach and bitter orange.Palate: Perfect structure. Initial notes on soft apricot and cream is offset by developing flavours of old leather and oak with a touch of honey.Finish: Very long and balanced, progresses from crème brulée to a gentle oak flourish.At Aberlour, we believe in style over substance. Refunds
