15 Metre 4-way/2 Pair Telephone CableCW1308 SpecificationUses - Most commonly used for wiring up additional telephone lines within a home or commercial building, also commonly used with applications such as door entry systems & intercoms. This pure copper cable meets the CW1308 British Telecom specification so will create the best minimal loss signal runs. How to use - To use this cable with 4-way (431A) BT plugs, you will need to use a crimping tool (supplied in our online shop). Using this tool, strip the insulation from the end of the cable, and separate the wires within. Insert these into the plug and line up the coloured wires within to the appropriate terminals (there are many guides online that will talk you through the appropriate order of wires). Once the wires are all seated, squeeze the connector with the crimp tool, which will lock the wires into the connector and grip the plug onto the cable. This cable is also suitable for use with telephone line faceplates which require an IDC insertion tool to attach the wires to the IDC points on the telephone jack. Refunds
