Thatchers groundbait gained a cult following over the last 20 years as being the go-to groundbait for many anglers, originally only available through the Thatchers shop. This finely ground and sieved pellet based groundbait has extra fishmeal added and a small amount of breadcrumb for texture and is perfect for commercials. It is easy to mix and binds well to a Method Feeder and breaks down quickly, this is all down to the consistency and fine texture of the ingredients used. The fine particles create an inactive mix when dampened which is perfect for a rapid breakdown of feed around the hook. It can also be balled, or cupped in as slop. The fine texture of the groundbait means it will form a light haze of attractants as it melts off the feeder, quickly creating a feeding area. Thatchers Original Pro Thatchers Original is simple to mix. Empty the bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 1 pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use. Alternatively, you can use a drill and whisk, this is now the preferred method of many of our consultants. When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again. Thatchers Dark Developed using the original Thatchers recipe, Thatchers Original has gained quite the reputation among anglings elite since its release. Following on from the success of our Original ‘natural’ coloured Thatchers mix we have added two new mixes to the range. Thatchers Dark as the name suggests is a darker version of the original mix and will undoubtedly prove popular with anglers who prefer a darker mix when targeting silverfish or during the cooler months when water clarity increases. Thatchers Green Thatchers Green is the latest mix to be introduced into the hugely popular Thatchers range. Developed using the original Thatchers tackle shop recipe, Thatchers Green joins Thatchers Original and Thatchers Dark and offers anglers another fantastic option from the range with a commercial angler favourite green colour.

Refunds
