Product Description

The ’Lady Stratheden’ produces gorgeous semi-double yellow blooms with dark-green foliage, making them ideal for sunny borders and cottage gardens. This hardy perennial holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance and is very well-known. It is a great choice throughout the garden and will add a splash of hot colour to any planting scheme.Pot up geum plants and grow them on in bright, frost-free conditions until large enough to be transplanted outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Geums dislike soils which are prone to waterlogging in winter. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun.Water regularly until plants are fully established. Regular deadheading will encourage more flowers to be produced throughout the summer. In spring, lift and divide overcrowded clumps of geum to maintain their vigour.Product Specifications: Position: Sun or Semi ShadeHeight: Up To 60cm (24in)Spread: Up To 60cm (24in)Flowering: June – AugustDelivered with growing and care instructionsImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
