[80 Cotton Mix] This perfectly blended batting is made from 80% long staple cotton fibres and 20% super soft polyester. Offering the same characteristics as 100% cotton, blending with the synthetic fibre gives it a lighter weight. Can be hand or machine stitched up to 4 inches apart. [Ideal For All Types of Crafts] Perfect for making cushions, headboards, table runners, placemats, wall quilts/hangings, quilting, clothes and upholstery. [Care & Handling Instructions] Machine wash at 40c on a gentle cycle. Spin dry on medium to fast cycle. Allow to dry flat in the shade. [Pre-Washing] Under most normal quilt applications pre-washing is not essential. Minimal shrinkage of between 2 and 4% can be expected. If you prefer to pre-wash the wadding, do not agitate in the washing machine. [Complies] Conforms to BS1425 part 1 and British Standards BS5852 & Furniture and Furnishings Fire and Safety Regulations 1988. It is also resistant to moths and mildew and is non-allergenic.
